When an eye for an eye,
Is a breath for a breath.
When a life for a life,
Is a death for a death.
When Lex Talionis
Is just the same act;
It is no act of justice,
Nor is it a just act.
Perspectives:
Some see the efforts of politicians to solve the nation’s debt problem as half-started, others see it as half-finished. But most of us outside of Washington see it as half-assed.
