Spring is here, the full moon past
The first Sunday has come
All things are new, mankind en-mass
The Christian, Jew, Muslim
I do not question if it was the Christ
Or Eostre as some say
Who by one’s death so paid the price
Or which one rose today
The only man I’ve ever feared
Was the man who once feared me
And the only man I truly loathed
Was the man I longed to be
He once was you and you were him
But here’s the ambiguity
All men were at once both of them
And once both of them were me
