N.J. Woman Files Lawsuit After Being Hit By Errant Throw From 11-Year-Old At Little-League Game

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - A New Jersey woman who was struck in the face with a baseball at a Little League game is suing the young catcher who threw it.

Elizabeth Lloyd is seeking more than $150,000 in damages to cover medical costs stemming from the incident at a Manchester Little League game two years ago. She's also seeking an undefined amount for pain and suffering.

There was a day and time when I would have bet my weight in baseballs that no sane adult would try to sue an eleven year old because they were hit by an errant pitch. I think I was around eleven. Fast forward about forty years and it's clear that I would lose that bet today. That being said, I like to think that I would really feel bad if I were an eleven year old little leaguer who'd hit someone in the head with a bad throw. But if I were the judge hearing this case, I 'd be more than happy to hit her on the head (repeatedly) with the God-damn book! Case dismissed!

I Aint Sayin’ He Shoulda’ Killed Him…

Sheriff’s deputies in Texas refused to file charges against a father who beat a man to death after allegedly catching him sexually abusing his four-year-old daughter.

Some are saying he was wrong and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Others are saying he was right and should be vindicated.

Some are saying that justice was surely and swiftly served, while others are saying he had no right to administer that justice with his own hands.

Well…

I’m gonna’ err on the side of Chris Rock because, “I aint sayin’ he shoulda’ killed him… but?”

Zimmerman & Now Zimmer(wo)man

George Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, said the couple was confused and fearful when they misled court officials about how much money they had.

George Zimmerman said he was confused and fearful when he targeted, confronted and subsequently killed Trayvon Martin – in self defense.

Hmm…

Hey! Shelly Zimmerman doesn’t have a gun …. does she?
