I’m almost compelled to ask Mark Driscoll why he thought the President needed his prayer when he obviously didn’t even need his vote? Or why didn’t he offer, instead, a prayer for the guy he apparently wasted his vote on?
Here’s what Driscoll (@PastorMark) tweeted at 11:17am – 21 Jan 13:
Almost.
I would definitely ask him, “Who Do You Think You Are?”
Hi BJ,
I’ve never heard of Pastor Mark or his book, but his Twitter profile can answer the question. It reads: “A nobody trying to tell everybody about Somebody.”
A sign of self-awareness? Probably not. I took a look at his timeline and from what I gathered he’s interested in one way communication (at least on Twitter) — he talks / others listen. ‘Holier than thou’ doesn’t suit him, mostly because it doesn’t suit anyone.
ROFL ~ That was right on the mark Ray!
Disraeli wrote: “In the the land of the blind, one eyed men are kings.”
That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Driscoll preaches from a pulpit in a room without a light switch! 😀
Take care 😉
